We are opening up the National Space Centre Immersive Academy this summer to aspiring creatives to develop their skills in 3D modelling, computer animation and game design.
Learn how to bring 3D assets into real world footage to create awesome CG scenes.
Experiment with the latest VR technology and 3D mini-planetarium in the Reality Lab.
If your child is interested in gaming, 3D art, animation, VFX or filmmaking this is a great opportunity to get hands on with the latest tools and technology.
Ages and Dates
Our Immersive Academy team will be hosting 2 separate three-day sessions over the summer holiday period:
- Suitable for ages 12-15yrs
- 30 July – 01 August 2024
- 06 August – 08 August 2024
- £90 for each 3 day block
Immersive Academy
Participants will take away exciting new digital skills but it will also be a great taste to see if this is something they would like to study further as part of our full-time Immersive Design & Development course run in partnership with Leicester College for learners aged 16 after completing their GSCEs.
